With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Wookey of Greenbush, Minnesota, born in Pueblo, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 79. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lucille Morris; his children, Roy Albert, Jacob Dale and Lorraine Dorothy of Minneapolis, MN; the mother of his children Ronda Wookey (Goertz) of Roseau, MN; his children, Margo Wookey (Murphy) of New London, MN, Carrie Wookey (Sheuey) of Maryland Heights, MO, Frank and Tracey Wookey (Ganje) of Maple Grove, MN; his grandchildren, Trent, Aubrey Faith Roelofs (Wookey) of Raymond, MN, Benjamin Micheal Wookey, Samantha Nicole Wookey, Tatum Grace Wookey, Anastassia Renae Murphy, Jack Edwards Wookey and Becca Jane Wookey; his great grandchild Lyla Bluebell Roelofs; his brother Jim Wookey (Judie) of Fowler, CO; his foster sisters, Brenda Taylor (Tim) and Barbara Upchurch (Alan) of Collinsville, OK; his nieces and nephews, Brian Wookey (Randi) of Billings, MT, Daphne Early (Sasha) of Chapel Hills, NC, Annelise Parker of Colorado Springs, CO, Aaron Early of Austin, TX and Amy Early (John Sharpe) of San Antonio, TX; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adryn, Kayd, Rory, Hunter, Valentina, Nikoly, Jenya and Nadia; and also, Kenner, Reis, Kyle, Jason and Emily.
