It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lambert E. Schires of Greenbush, Minnesota, born in Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schires and Susie Schires (Burkel); and his parents-in-law, Ned and Adelia Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peterson (Sherry); his children, Lisa Forst (John) of Strathcona, Vernon Schires (Rachel) of Greenbush, Karla McMillin (Harley) of Roseau and Heidi Karnowski (Jeremy) of Greenbush; his grandchildren, Lacey, Lance Forst, Carly (Dillan), Travis, Courtney Schires, Braxton Kjos, Brian (Wendy) and Trevor McMillin; his great grandchildren, Emerson Jenson, Eddie McMillin, Colt Schires and Easton Moser; and his brother-in-law Derald Peterson (Carmen). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
