He was predeceased by: his parents, Menford Brekke and Ruby Brekke (Jorgenson); his brother-in-law Gary Seydel; and his grandparents, Johnnie, Minie Jorgenson (Lee), Leonard and Rose Brekke (Minark).

He is survived by: his sister Ronna Seydel; his nieces and nephews, Rondi Johnson (Dustin), Raechel Newgard (Brent), Rebecca Fleming (Jon), Robbie Brekke and Ethan Brekke (Kate); his close friend Joy Sand; and also Lee Brekke (Nancy). He is also survived by aunts, uncles and MANY cousins and friends.
