He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Farber and Viola Farber (Oelfke); his son Steven Farber; his brother Gene Farber; his brother-in-law Maynard Mackenthun; and his parents-in-law, Emil and Myrtle ZumBerge.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys ZumBerge; his son Jon Farber (Cheryl) of Green Isle; his granddaughters, Lynn Otto (Trevor) of Arlington, Erin Farber of Green Isle and Lauren Enerson (Patrick) of Arlington; his great grandchild Olivia Otto; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Farber of New Germany and Marion Mackenthun of Chaska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
