He is survived by: his wives, Delores Uhlir and Dee Broin of Green Isle; his children, Susan Kreger (Bob Bliss) of Chaska and Steve "Herbie" Broin (Kay) of Cologne; his grandchildren, Jeff Kreger (Natalie), Lisa Zaudtke (Tony), Matt Kreger (Erika) and Jesse Broin; and his great grandchild Avery Kreger.
