Allen Herd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Herd of Green Isle, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Allen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Allen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Allen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Herd and Ann Herd (Sickler); and his siblings, Merva Dressen (Bob), Clarence Herd (Karen) and Don Herd (Eileen).
He is survived by: his wife Marge; and his children, Mary Dolan (John) of Chaska and Mark Herd (Bridget) of Chaska.
