He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Ernie" Thomas and Pauline "Lena" Thomas (Saumer); his children, Philip Thomas and Colette Thomas; and his siblings, Gloria Amdahl, Kenneth Thomas, Leo Thomas and Jerome Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Leella Thomas of Grasston; his daughters, Denise Pals (Bruce) of Rush City and Gwen Thomas (Mike Baker) of Crosby; and his grandchildren, Claressa Gorman (Kelly), Coreen Pals, Jennifer Schweizer (Brian), Cody Pals, ReGina Clapp (Rob), Shane Salmonson (Amanda), Lance Salmonson, Dalaena Baillargeon, Larry Mills and Calvin Jensen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1000 S Jay Ave, Rush City, MN 55069). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
