With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Rigge of Granite Falls, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuban Rigge and Lena Rigge (Jeseritz); his siblings, Lillian Peterson, Harvey Rigge, Orvin Rigge, Donald Rigge and Lorraine Rosa; and his great grandchild Baby Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Timm of John's Lutheran Church; his children, James (Cindy Rigge), Janine (Jim Banken), Susan (Robin Kohn) and Kathleen (John Korthius); and his grandchildren, Jesse, April Rigge, Kris, Holly Cobb, Amy, Tony Redepenning, Michael Rigge, Jason Bowers (Jamie), Jeremy, Melissa Jerve, Steve, Katie Fry, Trent, Kristine Johnson, Mike, Laura Betker, Dilque, April Zea, Alisha, Brad Handeland, Angie and Dave Knollenberg. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
