She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Halvorson and Virginia Halvorson (Olson); her husband George Schindele; her grandson John O'Neal; and her brother Dennis.

She is survived by: her sons, John (Candy) and Brian (Lori); her grandchildren, Courtney (Zach), Lucas and Nicholas; her great grandchild Brynlee; and her brothers, Mike, Verle (Dot) and Dean (Joy). She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
