He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chuck" Madsen (Gary Hart) of Minneapolis and Robert Madsen of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Kristin Nicoson (Jake) and Matthew Madsen; his great grandchildren, Cole and Bryn Nicoson; his sisters, Carol Jensen of Texas, Mary Halvorson (Larry) of Edina and Joyce Cicura (Michael) of Minneapolis; and also Darlene "Dar" Hanson of Granite Falls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
