She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Douglas Peterson and Carol Peterson (Anderson); her children, Lenaya Korstad of Granite Falls and Andrew Korstad (Tina) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Brennen, Courtney, Emma, Madison, Kara, Sheldon, Shayla, Elliot, Daniel Jr., Amelia, Angel and Tristan; her great grandchildren, Cano, Jaydom, Haizyl and Kevin; her siblings, Jason Peterson (Teresa) of Belview and Carrie Marks (Ken) of Marietta, Georgia; her grandparents, Amelia and Elijah Peterson; her daughter Jodi Korstad; and her brother Douglas "Buzzy" Peterson. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
