Beverly L. Shafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly L. Shafer of Granite Falls, Minnesota, born in Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer LaChapelle and Lucille LaChapelle (Kruse); her son Alan McCormack; and her granddaughter Rebecca Baer. She is survived by: her daughter Claudia Washburn; her daughter-in-law Diane McCormack; and her grandchildren, Troy McCormack (Sandy), Matthew Baer (Sheila), John Baer and Nissa Washburn. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many extended family.
Beverly was also a charter member and past president of the American Business Women's Assoc., a member of the Douglas County Activities Director Association, and served on the advisory board of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
