He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie; and his son Steve. He is survived by: his brothers, Roger and Butch; his sons, Tim (Carrie), Dave, Joe and John (Heidi); and his grandchildren, Steve, Rebecca, Chris, Teresa, Tony, Andy, Jeffrey and Michael. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Up until Covid, he spent time in a country band called the "Country Legends" of which he played with his friends at tractor shows, nursing homes, and family gatherings.
