It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanetta Winifred Kangas of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred and Lydia Cook (Whippler); her husband Phil Kangas; her son-in-law Todd Klein; and her brother-in-law James Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Oellerich (Daniel), Richard Kangas (Jeanine) and Mary Beth Klein-Goerts (Bruce); her grandchildren, Lindsey, Sydney, Noah, Erin, Kate and Eva; her sisters, Arlette Lepper (Jim) and Nadine Schroeder; and her siblings-in-law, William "Bill" Kangas (Carren) and Susan Chaffee (Norman). She is also survived by her family, friends.
