We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2023, at the age of 77, ValJean Toivonen of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Aitkin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Algot Williams and Laura Williams (Kehoe); her husband Roy Toivonen; her sister Barb Young; and her nieces, Kristin Dunstan and Tina Curry.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jon Toivonen (Nicole) and Amy Miller (Clint); her great grandchildren, Maija Toivonen, Zoe Toivonen, Laura Toivonen, Riley Toivonen, Claire Miller and Cash Miller; and her nephew Marcus Dunstan.
