Lois Merchant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 87, Lois Merchant of Grand Rapids, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Mattson and Helen Mattson (Arola); her husband Arthur Merchant; her brother Norman Mattson; and her stepchildren, Susan Merchant and Robert Merchant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Bunes (Scott Lewis) of Grand Rapids and Gayle Swenson (Tim) of Sauk Centre; her stepdaughter Marlene Stenach (Richard) of Fairbanks, Alaska; her son Curtis Johnson of Grand Rapids; her stepson David Merchant of Grand Rapids; her brother Allen Mattson; and her close friend Michael Cochran. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
