He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mechling and Grace Mechling; his former wife Judy; his son David Burt; and his sister Peggy Ash.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Radke; his children, Larry "Mickey" Burt (Jan), Beth Roberts (Larry), Michelle Thompson, Todd Hendershott (Angela), Lisa Porterfield (Cliff) and Corey Hendershott (Connie); and his stepchildren, Todd Radke (Mary) and Michelle Nelson (Cliff). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
