It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Allen of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Riendeau and Rose Riendeau (Carpenter); her husband James W. Allen; and her siblings, Roy, Lloyd, Lawrence (Rene), Rolland Riendeau, Dolores Berg, Gladys Koski, Lorraine Riendeau and Isabelle Allen.
She is survived by: her children, James J. Allen (Sue) of Grand Rapids, MN, Gloria Hughes (Tim) of Grand Rapids, MN and Jackie Allen of Grand Rapids, MN; her siblings, Willard Riendeau of Hibbing, JoAnn Martin of Embarrass, Joyce Hughes of Bovey, Beulah Baker of North St and Janice Nyhus of Lander, WY; and her caregivers, Terri Knutson, Stephanie Harnack and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
