Peterson of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Leeds, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 98. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Julia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Julia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Knute Kristenson and Hannah Kristenson (Engstrom); her husband Raymond Peterson; and her brother Kermit Kristenson. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Haimes (Tony), Thomas Peterson (Linda), James Peterson Sartell (Chris) and Kathryn Sullivan (Keith). She is also survived by grandchildren, five (5) great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
