She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Gildemeister and Anna Gildemeister; her husband Robert Johnson; and her siblings, Velma Lentz, Lois Gildemeister and David Gildemeister.

She is survived by: her children, Leann Johnson, Roberta Wimmer, Deborah Hogenson and Steven Johnson; her grandson Benjamin Hogenson; and her sister-in-law Betty Gildemeister. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Croix Hospice.
