We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021, at the age of 78, James Olijnek of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Olijnek and Selma Olijnek (Feldt). He is survived by: his wife Gail Benzick; his granddaughter Kimberly; his son Matt Olijnek (Dawn); his grandsons, Adam, Evan and Collin; his daughter Kim Killoran (Darren); his grandchildren, Brody and Natalie; and his brother Robert Olijnek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, Wabana Chain of Lakes Association, or donor's choice.
