James D. Merrick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Merrick of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Merrick and Ruie Merrick; his former wife Donna Leaman; his daughter Crystal; and his stepdaughter Celina.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Ann Merrick; his sisters, Jane Argabright and Doris Simpson; and his daughters, Rhonda Flemming (Richard), Angie Weinkauf (Terrence), Carma Lichtle (Ron), Lacey Vasquez and Lindsey Lund (Trevor). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the River of Life Church (707 NW 17th Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
