He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Sr. Bennett and Lida Bennett; his wife Diana Pratt; his son Richard; and his siblings, Eugene Bennett, Oliver Bennett, David Bennett and Olive.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Bennett (Gail), Michael Bennett (Kandy) of Grand Rapids, Susan Thorson (Lee) of Bovey and Debra Nelson (Gary) of Clara City, MN.. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; and 12 Great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
