She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Aamodt and Frances Aamodt; and her half-brother James. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Steven Lahti (Paula), Jon Lahti, Lori Lahti Goetz (Doug), Lynn Lahti Hommeyer (Tom) and Lisa Lahti Wyland (Gerry); her grandchildren, Erik Lahti (Autumn), Kai Lahti (Danielle), Anne (Goetz), Boemler (Derek), Berit Goetz (Jamie), Jon Smith-Goetz (Erica), Ingrid (Goetz), Schubkegel (Kyler), Lucia, Liv, Liisa, Leif Wyland, Sven and Stieg Lahti; and her great grandchildren, Leena, Liam, Lira Lahti, Sophia and Lillian Boemler.
Memorials in honor of Fran may be made to United in Christ Lutheran Church Choir in Eveleth, The Ladies of Kaleva, and St. Croix Hospice of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, to whom, along with the staff of the Pillars of Grand Rapids, the family gives thanks for their kind and skillful care of Fran.
