He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Trast and Jeanne Trast; his wife Amy; his children, Emily Trast and Theo Trast; his brothers, Wade Trast (Karla) of Grand Rapids, MN and Neil Trast (Malaka Simonson) of Coleraine, MN; his sister-in-law Stephanie Malingen (Mark); and also, Doug and Virginia Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
