He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Walter and Dorothy Winnifred Gagnon (Harris); his stepfather Red Fragnito; his half-siblings, Alvin Gagnon and Mildred Gagnon Salo; and his stepbrother Bob Fragnito.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Robertson; his children, Steve Gagnon of Minneapolis and Sara Gagnon of Grand Rapids; and his grandson Reid Gagnon of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
