He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauri Maki and Gerstie Maki (Ala); his son David Maki; and his sister Evelyn Ketola. He is survived by: his wife Linda Waters; his daughters, Robin Renollet and Renee Johnson (Jon Solberg); his grandchildren, Jenica Vizenor (Andrew O'Gorman), Jacob Renollet, Alex Renollet (Danielle Donaldson) and Kerstie Johnson (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Aurora, Ian, Duncan, Winnie and Decker; and his son-in-law Tony Renollet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
