In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Jackson and Catherine Jackson; her husband Lawrence "Buddy" Manella; her siblings, Virginia Jackson, Kathy Bartick and Rodney Jackson; and her son-in-law Tim Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Salisbury (Ron) of Negaunee, MI, Mary Nelson of Eden Prairie, MN, Lawrence "Larry" Manella (Ruth) of Grand Rapids, MN and Patrick Manella of Grand Rapids, MN; her stepdaughter Patty Dziuk (Harold) of Grand Rapids, MN; and her sister Laura Hughes (Dick) of Chico, CA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
