He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Laney; and his brother Mark Laney. He is survived by: his mother Jean Laney (Julien); his children, Terra and Francis Sobolik; his grandchildren, George, Emmett, Shelby Sobolik, Adam and Deb Laney; his great grandchild Peter Laney; and his sisters, Patty Holman and Kathy Newman. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
