She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Aiton and Catherine Aiton (Bjork); her siblings, Geraldine Rowe and Bruce Aiton; and her grandson Jay MacNeil.
She is survived by: her husband Mert Rima; her children, Nancy Warneke (Dave), Denise Herdman (Dee Jones), Janet MacNeil and Boomer Herdman; her siblings, Vern Aiton and Kathy Pliska (John); and her stepchildren, Denise Bohrer and David Rima (Susan). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rowe Funeral Home and Crematory (510 NW 1st Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery (Co Rd 440, Coleraine, MN 55722).
