He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis and Ida Ellis (Eckert); and his siblings, Bob, Neal, Garnet Bendix and Fern Hannula.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Ellis; his children, Leigh Ellis (Jackie), Mark Ellis (Barbara) and Eloise Cis Ladner (Bobby); and his sister Pat Schwochert. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
