He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Swentkofske and Georgia Swentkofske; and his siblings, Jackie, Kitty, Tom and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Marleen Vaudrin; his children, Christopher Swentkofske (Sharon) of East Bethel, MN, Brenton Swentkofske of Grand Rapids, MN, Jon Hagman (Niki) of Avon, MN and Heather Hagman Bunes (Eric) of Grand Rapids, MN; his grandchildren, Kyle Ossefoort, Jack Swentkofske and Freja Bunes; and his close friend John Gitzen (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
