He is survived by: his wife Ardes Tessman; his children, Susan Murphy Wulff (Bart), Carla Aimonetti and David Kessler (Denise); his grandchildren, Angie Beckel (Bryce), Aaron Aimonetti (Lenae), Rhea Mikulich (Aaron), Andrew Murphy, Katie Sertich (Andy), Ryan Murphy (Laura), Dan Kessler (Leah), Leo Kessler and Emily Peterson (Tyler); and also Sue Kessler. He is also survived by 12 Great-grandchildren.
