She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hongo and E. Jean Hongo (Bjork); and her siblings, Larry and Diana Kloster. She is survived by: her brothers, Brian "Rudy" Hongo (Patty) of Pengilly, MN and Darrel Hongo (Ann) of Taconite, MN; her brother-in-law Ron Kloster of Brooklyn Center, MN; her nieces and nephews, Melissa, Katie, Jessica, Heather, Tim and Joe; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Serena, Miles, Micah and Logan.
