He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Agnes (Rasmussen); his brother-in-law Larry Fields; and also, Robert and Shirley Yates.
He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Shelton; his wife Lori Burt (Yates); his children, Regina, Carolyn, Timothy, Laura, Howard and Steven; his great great grandchildren, Deb Hindermann (Mike), Lynette Fields and Stacy Thiner (Rich); and his daughter-in-law Anna Root. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 40+ great grandchildren.
