She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Peterson and Lydia Peterson (Miller); her husbands, James A. Thorson and Robert A. Bernhardt; her stepchildren, Alan, Hugh and Sally Bernhardt; and her brothers, Vernon and Tom Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Twedten (Peter) of Apple Valley, MN, Debra Howg (Tim) of Grand Rapids, MN, James Thorson (Loretta) of Scandia, MN and Mark Thorson of Bloomington, MN; and her stepson Glen Bernhardt (Marie Renwald). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
