He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ruud and Marie Ruud; his close friend Rosaire Hall; and his wife Mavis Kirby. He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Russell (Ed) of Syracuse, NY and Lisa Luttinen (Mark) of Washburn, WI; his grandchildren, Emily Russell, Kirsten Russell, Max McDowell and Danielle Warren (Daniel); his nieces and nephews, Jim Tompkins, Kay Courtney (Tom), Larry Tompkins (Carol), Lynn (Keith Brokke), Steve Ruud and Tim Ruud; and his extended family, Jeff Carter (Amy), Cindy Bender (Craig), Duane Bolme and Erik Bolme (Amanda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Second Harvest North Central Food Bank, 2222 Cromell Dr, Grand Rapids, MN 55744.
