He is survived by: his son Eli Ahonen (Shauna); his siblings, Kristi Watts (John), Kathy Gospodareck (Keith), Greg Carlson (Gayle), John "Jay" Carlson (Jean) and Mark Carlson; his granddaughter Taylor; and his pet Dobbie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.
