Bernadette L. Sobolik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadette L. Sobolik of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Perley, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernadette L. Sobolik to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arends and Leona Arends (Brommenschenkel); her husband Miles Patrick Sobolik; her sons, Dennis and John; her brother Joseph; her sister-in-law Muriel Arends; her sisters, Mary Agnes (Pete Gagner), Rose Klinck, Cecelia Schlick and Carol Arends; and her sister-in-law Julie Arends.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Goodell (Jim), Rita Craiglow (Greg), Jim Sobolik (Julie), Theresa Paskey (Doug), Lee Sobolik (Jaime), Joe Sobolik (Betsy) and Francis Sobolik (Terra); her siblings, Jan Hallberg, Donald Arends, Gerald Arends (Irene), Harold Arends (Diane) and Jack Arends (Sherry); and her brothers-in-law, Charles Klinck and Earl Schlick. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (501 2nd Ave NW, Cohasset, MN 55721). Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery (1102 Central Ave, Cohasset, MN 55721).
