It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Marie McCarthy formerly of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, born in Argyle, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene McCarthy; her parents, Avelin Lambert and Lucy Lambert; and her son-in-law John Osterberg. She is survived by: her children, Patty McKenzie (Pat), Cathy Wassenaar (Rob), Mary Rhodes (Doug), Bob McCarthy (Liz) and Jim McCarthy (Sally); her grandchildren, Mike and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Hallie, Tom Osterberg (Shauna), Josh Wassenaar (Tracee), Drew Wassenaar (Sandra), Amanda Kaper (Grant), Kelly Rhodes and Abigail Rhodes.
