He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith Dettloff (Aswegan) and Lyle Dettloff; his former wife Janet Kjeer; his child Michele Dettloff; his brother Marvin Dettloff; his wife Joan Platteter; his daughter Marsha (Jon Toso); his siblings, Carter (Diane) of Mancos, Darby (Jordan) of Mancos, Megan (Jacob Wells) of Mazomanie, WI and Dustin of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, River Moats, Adeline, Cooper Dettloff, Koda, Kai Meyers and Alexandra Toso; and his siblings, Noel (Liz) and Roma Polito. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to support a scholarship fund created for students pursuing degrees in Agriculture/Science.
