With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rolf Skrien (Grand Marais, Minnesota), who passed away on January 2, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Skrien and Charlotte Skrien (Skalet); his wife Gail; his son Stan; his great grandchild Harmony St; his children, Sandy, Stuart Skrien (Cindy), Susan Skrien and Sally Derginer (Doug); his grandchildren, Danny St, Tyler Derginer, Jensen Derginer, Monroe Chumklang, Ella, Ruby, Juel and Ole Skrien; and his sister-in-law Dee Skrien. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Gunflint Trail Historical Society for the Chik Wauk Museum.
