Marcy Podas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2020, at the age of 98, Marcy Podas of Grand Marais, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Emons and Harriet Emons; her husband Norman F. Podas; her sister Doris; her daughters, Bonnie Gay Hedstrom (Howard) of Grand Marais and Jane Wolff (Peter) of Inverness, Florida; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Khan (Ishtiaq) of Minneapolis, Jonathan Hedstrom (Alyssa) of Grand Marais, Maeri Hedstrom and Jeffrey Niesen of Los Angeles, California; her great grandchildren, Ella, Liv, Thea Hedstrom, Rubina and Laila Khan; and her nephews, Steven Erickson (Marie), Dan and David Erickson.
The family is grateful for the loving kindness and caring shown to Marcy by the staff at North Shore Health, as they had to be her family during the ongoing Covid-19 shutdown.
