It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor L Waha of Grand Marais, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Saethre and Mabel Saethre (Berglund); her husband Art Waha; and her siblings, Russell Lindskog, Lyle, Roland, Dale Saethre, Irene Thompson, Olive Brugge and Carolyn Engebretsen.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Waha (Wendy) of Grand Portage, Patience Anderson Faulkner of Cordova, Mary Deschampe (Butch) of Grand Portage and Barbara Pederson (Paul) of Grand Marais; her siblings, Chester Lindskog, Roy Lindskog and Lorraine McDonald; her sisters-in-law, Delores Saethre and Nola Lindskog; and her caregiver Vanessa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
