She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Custard and Margaret Custard (Cornell); and her siblings, Judy Saunders, Dorene Luhmann and David Custard.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Nelson of Granada; her children, Wiley Early (Flora) of Owensboro, KY, Matt Robinson (Roxy) of Buffalo Center, IA, Tammy Koestler of New Ulm, MN, Dana Martin (Charles) of Tipton, IA and Nicole Schroeder (Michael) of Independence, IA; and her siblings, Dwayne Custard (Karen) and Gayla Miller (Jim). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
