He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harry, Mabel Paulson, Marilyn and Kenneth Wiseth; his father-in-law Keith Demarais; his aunts, Lynette Zupetz and Karyl Kveton; and his uncle Robert "Gunder" Paulson.
He is survived by: his parents, David Paulson and Diane Paulson (Wiseth); his wife Rachel Demarais of Bernard's Catholic Church; his son Gabriel; his sister Nicole Kennedy (Jim); his in-law Karen Hanson (Dwight); his siblings-in-law, Shannon Fleischer (Jon), Amie Treitline, Rebecca Demarais, Megan Wentworth (Heath), Joel Demarais (Marielle) and Ryan Demarais (Ashley); and his nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Matt, Allison, Isaac, Mason, Mads, Evangeline, Seamus, Samuel, William, Adaline and Henry. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Thief River (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (201 Vaughn St, Goodridge, MN 56725).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
