It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Kriel of Goodridge, Minnesota, born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Kriel; his grandparents, Norman, Oleen Kriel (Langerud Hanson), Anton Overby, Louis and Helga Jelle; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Stenzel and Trisha Kriel.
He is survived by: his mother Carol Kriel (Overby) of St. Hilaire, MN; his wife Jenni; his siblings, Lisa Kriel Koble (Gerald) of Roseau, MN, Jeffrey Kriel of St. Hilaire, MN and Ryan Kriel (Twila) of Goodridge, MN; his nieces and nephews, Mathew Verbout (Ryan), Alisha Anderson (Robbie), Megan Verbout, Gastin Kriel, Gannon Kriel, Logan Kriel, Simone Gebro, Cari Larson (Nate), Jake Wellentin (Katrina), Blaine Kriel (Kember) and Brooklynn Kriel; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Presley, Briggs, Jett, Hank Anderson, Sawyer, Tinley, Braxtin Kriel, Sophia, Jaxon Gebro, Whittemore, Wren, Prescott Larson, Ayla and Kayda Kriel; and his godchildren, Alisha, Gannon, Nolan, Nicholas and Logan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
