She was predeceased by: her father Martin Goplen (Greseth); her husband Lester "Les" Johnson; her daughter Karen Marie Berg; her siblings, Phillip Goplen (Elsie), Sherman Goplen and Edith Hollibaugh (Bud); her sisters-in-law, Edith Goplen and Louise Goplen; and her brother Marvin Johnson (Dorothy).

She is survived by: her children, Steven Johnson (Trudy) of Kenyon and Sonia Wessman (Bruce) of Maple Grove; her son-in-law Gene Berg (Eileen Soskin) of Freeland, WA; her grandchildren, Kristin Berg (Collin), Lars Berg (Lauren), Scot Johnson (Jennifer), Matthew Johnson (Holly), Joel Wessman (Heidi), Jana McGowan (Todd) and Leah Herdrich (Benjamin); her siblings, Frank Goplen, Maynard Goplen and Arlynn Goplen; and her sister-in-law Ethel Goplen. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
