He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heise and Emma Heise (Dose); his wife Janice Jean Thomforde of Goodhue; and his siblings, Violet Heitman, Janice Cords, Georgine Goetting, Ann Viles and William Heise Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Mark Heise (Tina) of Goodhue, Kent Heise (Colleen Spars) of Farmington, MN, Merri Ramboldt (John) of Goodhue, Holly Springer (John) of St. Peter, MN and Kristen Heise of Red Wing, MN; his friend Doris Tiedemann of Zumbrota; and his sister-in-law Arlis Meincke. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three step- grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
