With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger A. Gird of Goodhue, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gird and Loyce Gird (Bode); his grandson Taylor; his great grandchild Dawson; and his brother Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Tutewohl Sommers; his children, Troy Sommers (Tess), Shane Sommers, Stacie Maloney (Dave), Robyn Chapman and Ryan Gird (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Josh, Nate, Mandi, Chad, Bryce, Lindsay, Kaylynn, Carter, Madeline, Carrie, Dylan and Mason. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Wangen Prairie Lutheran Church.
